A developer operating system for AI-native work

Coding agents changed what a working session looks like. CheckPt Studio is what we wanted to use once they did.

An agent kicks off a long refactor. It runs for twenty minutes, then stops to ask whether it should touch the migration files. You are not at your desk. By the time you are, the context is cold and the momentum is gone.

That gap, between an agent that needs an answer and a developer who is somewhere else, is the problem CheckPt exists to close. Sessions keep running. Prompts reach you wherever you are. You answer from your phone, and the work continues.

Doing that well meant refusing the usual shortcut of routing everything through a server we control. So we did not. CheckPt pairs your devices directly and keeps your code on the machines you own, because a tool that reads your entire codebase has to earn that access.

What we build around

Four commitments that decide what ships and what does not.

Every device is a first-class device

Start a session at your desk, approve a change from your phone, pick it back up on a laptop. The work follows you instead of pinning you to one machine.

Your code stays yours

Approval content moves directly between the devices you have paired. Our relay handles signaling, not source code.

Local-first, not cloud-captive

Sessions and project state live on hardware you control. A dropped connection should be an inconvenience, never a work stoppage.

Built for how AI-native work actually goes

Agents run long, ask questions, and stall waiting on a human. CheckPt is designed around that rhythm rather than pretending it away.

Where we are headed

We build in the open and ship continuously. The changelog is the honest version of this page.
