Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we never touch, and the controls you have over your own data.

Overview
CheckPt is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Data Collection
We collect minimal data necessary for service operation:
- Device identifiers (random, opaque)
- Usage metrics (anonymized)
- Connection metadata
Launch Waitlist
Before launch, our coming-soon pages offer an optional email signup. If you join, we store your email address, your language, the page you signed up on, the signup time, and the version of the consent notice you saw — nothing else. We use it to send a single launch announcement in your language; it is not a newsletter and is never shared. To be removed at any time, email privacy@checkpt.io. We delete the list once the launch announcement has gone out.
Data Protection
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Approval content flows directly between your paired devices; it does not pass through the relay, which only carries control-plane signaling (pairing, presence, and push registration). The relay keeps no activity log on any plan — server-side retention is limited to the minimal operational metadata described below.
Data Retention
No plan has a server-side activity log: approval and session history lives only on your paired devices, where you control it. The relay retains only minimal operational metadata (device IDs, timestamps, routing info), and you can delete your account data at any time.
Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. If a tunnel provider is used, it relays traffic encrypted in transit (TLS); providers that terminate TLS may process it at their edge.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Correct inaccuracies
- Request deletion
- Export your data
- Use BYO Relay for control over signaling (Team and Enterprise, rolling out)
